  • Create a boil in a large pot of water that has been salted. You should add the pasta and cook it until it reaches the al dente stage, as directed on the package.
  • Following the completion of the cooking process, the food should be drained and washed with cold water. Put the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and toss them with the olive oil.

  • For the dressing, prepare: Place the mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle sauce, and seasonings in a medium bowl and whisk them together until they are combined.
  • Add the lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste after the mixture has been combined. Should you desire a more acidic dressing, you can add additional lime juice.

  • Alternatively, if you want a spicy dressing, you can add additional chipotle sauce or several dashes of your preferred hot sauce.
  • In addition to the other components of the salad, make sure to incorporate the dressing into the pasta. In order to combine, stir.

  • When ready to serve, cover and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
