Ice cream sandwich season has arrived! Summer has arrived after a few days of warmer temperatures and sunny skies. Celebrations are best with lots of ice cream recipes.



  • 6 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons dried lavender




  • 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
