Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole :-I really enjoy preparing casseroles. Mixing everything together and then placing it in the oven is a fairly simple process. They also have a wonderful flavor. Despite the fact that casseroles are sometimes given a poor reputation, I can’t help but adore them. This chicken casserole made with Ritz crackers is incredibly easy to prepare. I was even told by my husband that it was his best dish that I had ever prepared. When you consider that I’ve had a lot of casserole days in my day, that is quite a large statement. For your next meal, here are a couple additional casseroles that you can try.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. After spraying a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray, set it aside when you are ready.
  • The chicken that has been cooked and shredded should be combined with sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and seasonings. Insert into the bottom of the casserole dish that you have prepared.
  • Crushed crackers and melted butter should be sprinkled on top of your casserole. Bake for twenty to thirty minutes.

Recipe Variations:

  • To make it more colorful and healthful, you are free to add other ingredients to the chicken and sauce mixture. For example, you may add pimientos or one to one and a half cups of frozen peas, green beans, or mixed vegetables that have been softly cooked.
  • There are many options that are good, such as steamed broccoli or asparagus.
  • The filling might benefit from the addition of a few tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley for color.
  • Using two teaspoons of butter, sauté six to eight ounces of sliced mushrooms until they are soft and browned. After the mushrooms have been cooked, stir them into the chicken mixture.
  • If you like, you can use diced cooked turkey or ham instead of chicken.
  • To the chicken mixture, add bacon that has been cooked.
  • Make use of one of the many flavor variants of Ritz crackers, such as those with whole wheat, bacon, garlic butter, or reduced sodium respectively.
