  • Large Baking Dish


  • 16 ounces cod cut into filets
  • Sea salt and black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 4 large cloves garlic minced
  • Lemon wedges for serving

  • Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and set it to preheat.
  • The cod should be removed from its packaging and placed on a plate or cutting board before being consumed.


  • If there is any excess moisture, you can remove it with a paper towel.
  • After transferring the cod, place it in a baking dish, a casserole dish, or a sheet pan.
