Instructions

  • Put the oven on to a temperature of 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Fill the bottom of your roasting pan with one cup of water, white wine, apple cider, or chicken broth. Alternatively, you could use water.
  • Take the boneless turkey breast out of its packaging and place it on a large plate or a cutting board. Repeat with the remaining turkey breast. In order to remove any excess moisture, you can use paper towels.

  • The butter that has been softened, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, and sea salt should be mixed together in a small bowl until they are thoroughly combined.
  • The turkey breast should be placed on the roasting pan after being rubbed with the garlic butter mixture using the entire surface of the breast.

  • Bake the turkey breast for 25 minutes for every pound (for example, 50 minutes for a roast weighing 2 pounds, 1 hour and 15 minutes for a roast weighing 3 pounds, etc.), or until the internal temperature of the turkey breast reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit from the centre.
  • A meat thermometer should be inserted into the thickest part of the breast in order to determine the temperature of the meat inside.

  • Once the turkey breast has been removed from the oven, cover it with aluminium foil and allow it to rest for fifteen to twenty minutes.
  • Because of this process, the juices are able to distribute evenly throughout the breast, which ultimately results in the smoothest and most tender breast.

  • During this time, the breast will continue to cook, and it should reach the temperature determined by the FDA to be safe for consumption, which is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Before covering the turkey breast with foil and just before serving, you have the option of spooning the juices that are collected from the bottom of the roasting pan over the turkey breast on your own will.
  • A selection of side dishes can be served alongside the turkey breast after it has been sliced into slices.

Notes

  • When cooking a roast weighing two pounds, use four tablespoons of unsalted butter, and when cooking a roast weighing three pounds, use six tablespoons of unsalted butter.
  • If you are using regular iodized salt, also known as table salt, which has a more salty flavour than sea salt, you should reduce the amount of salt you use. It is also possible to reduce the amount of salt if you would like your food to have a lower salt content.
