Sliced Potatoes In Air Fryer Recipe- Step By Step Guide:-In the air fryer, slicing potatoes is a much simpler process. It has been quite some time since I have shared a recipe for potatoes, and I am very excited to share this recipe for air fryer potato slices with you! This is my very first recipe for the air fryer that I have posted on this blog, and I can’t wait to create and share another one!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound Russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Slice potatoes to a thickness of one quarter inch.
  • Olive oil and spices should be combined in a large bowl and mixed together. To ensure that the potatoes are evenly coated, toss them in the spice mixture.

 

  • Place potatoes in the basket of the air fryer, making sure that they are not stacked directly on top of one another but rather staggered among themselves.
  • Cook at a temperature of 400 degrees for five minutes, shake them, continue cooking for five more minutes, shake them again, and continue cooking for three more minutes.
  • To achieve a darker brown colour on your potatoes, continue cooking them for an additional two to three minutes.

INGREDIENT NOTES

  • Potato – Russet potatoes are the optimal variety to utilise. This recipe has not been attempted with Yukon gold or red potatoes.

 

  • Olive Oil- A small amount of oil is still required to obtain perfectly crisp potato slices. Light, extra virgin, or traditional olive oil will suffice. Canola, vegetable, or corn oil may also be utilised.

  • Spices- I use dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, and a small amount of salt in this recipe. This varies from person to person; I do not consistently prepare mine in the same manner. Listed below are some recommendations.
