- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter,softened To serve
- Fresh thyme leaves
- pinch crushed chilli flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the steak into cubes with uniform sizes. Apply a thin layer of olive oil to the meat or use a spray bottle.
- Mix together all of the seasonings and liberally sprinkle over the steak pieces.
- Set aside the remaining spice mixture and stir it into the melted butter.
- Set an air fryer to 400ºF (200°C) and preheat it for 5 minutes.
- We want our steak bits to sizzle as soon as they touch the air fryer basket, so don’t skimp on this stage!
- Meat should only be cooked in the air fryer for four to six minutes, shaking once, in a single layer.
- Because of the brief cooking time, the steak comes out beautifully browned on the inside while remaining juicy and soft.
- Serve the steak bites with the garlicky butter. You may either melt the butter in a skillet and drizzle it over the steak bites, or you can brush some over the beef right out of the air fryer.
- Toss in some fresh thyme leaves and a dash of chilli flakes, then enjoy!

Notes

- Since every air fryer is unique, you might need to modify the cooking time based on the model and the way you like your steak done.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; instead, cook the steak bites in a single layer. The steak will not cook through if you overfill the air fryer.

- The best method to determine whether the steak is done to your liking is to use a meat thermometer; see the cooking instructions below. I suggest cooking your steak from rare to medium to avoid tough, chewy bites.
